Kirsty has almost twenty years’ experience in architecture, most of these dedicated to architecture+, having joined the practice in 2007. During this time, she has proven to be a highly proficient project architect, playing an integral role in the delivery of key commercial projects such as Spark Central, 22 Boulcott Street, the Hutt City Administration building, and the City Gallery entrance and foyer.

With a science degree and first career in theatre production – including props making and lighting design, Kirsty brings a different perspective. She is a skilled project leader, known for imparting direction and installing confidence in her team members with calmness and clarity. This has been particularly evident in her recent role as project architect for Stewart’s Dawson’s corner, a prominent building in central Wellington, for which she has managed a team of staff as well as balancing communications with external consultants and collaborators with impressive dexterity.

Practical, dedicated, and focused, Kirsty doesn’t hesitate to rise to any challenge directed her way, and she does so with positivity and enthusiasm. She enjoys working collaboratively with consultants, contractors, and clients to produce rewarding architectural outcomes.
