Following the completion of the Administration Building in 2016 work has been proceeding on the seismic strengthening and upgrade of the 1959 Town Hall building and the construction of a new Events Centre. These buildings are fully integrated and will establish a versatile venue for large civic, commercial and private functions. The facility has a strong urban connection to Dowse Drive and as well as to Riddiford Gardens. The venue is due for completion by mid 2018.
