Belinda’s impact on architecture+ over the last two decades is significant, having joined the practice back in 2002. Naturally detail-oriented, Belinda has offered her skills in design development, detailed design and project delivery, with a number of award-winning projects prospering under her leadership.
Known for her project-management skills, Belinda runs a tight ship – managing the workflow of staff, contractors, suppliers, and consultants with professionalism and clear communication. As a result, she has forged strong relationships with a broad range of professionals within the construction industry. Belinda has been a director on the board of the NZIA and continues to be a committee member on the Wellington branch. Her contribution to the profession was recognised with a Fellowship in 2023.
Belinda has a particular interest in workplace strategy and commercial interior projects, underpinned by previous undergraduate study in organizational psychology. This has seen her take on the role of project architect and interior architect on projects such as the Hutt City Council Administration Building and the Department of Conservation Head Office, as well as fit outs for the Tertiary Education Commission and Commerce Commission, Treasury and Contact Energy.
